Introduction

Gymer ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our workout tracking application.

Information We Collect

Google Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, and profile picture to identify your account.

Workout Data: All workout data you create (programs, exercises, sets, reps, weights) is stored directly in Google Sheets within your own Google Drive account. We do not store this data on our servers.

Access Tokens: We temporarily use OAuth access tokens to interact with Google Sheets on your behalf. These tokens are not permanently stored.

How We Use Your Information

To authenticate your identity via Google OAuth
To create and manage workout spreadsheets in your Google Drive
To read and write workout data to your spreadsheets
To provide the core functionality of the Gymer application

Data Storage and Security

Your Data Stays With You: All workout data is stored in Google Sheets within your personal Google Drive. We do not have a separate database storing your workout information.

Limited Access: Gymer only accesses spreadsheets that it creates (identified by a special property). We cannot access your other Google Drive files.

Secure Authentication: We use Google's OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication. We never see or store your Google password.

Google API Services

Gymer's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Your workout data remains in your Google Drive and is only accessible by you.

Your Rights

Access: Your workout data is in your Google Sheets - you can access it anytime
Export: Export your data from Google Sheets to any format (CSV, Excel, PDF)
Delete: Delete your workout spreadsheets from Google Drive at any time
Revoke Access: Remove Gymer's access from your Google account settings

Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics that collect personal information.

Children's Privacy

Gymer is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
